오늘 날치의 삶과 죽음을 보면서 느끼는 바가 있었다.

날치는 바닷속에 있으면 천적에게 잡혀죽을것 같아서
물 밖으로 도망쳐 날아 오르는것이라는데

정말 웃픈것은

날치가 죽게되는 대부분의 이유가
물밖에서 대기하고 있던 새한테 잡혀 죽든가
살자고 힘껏 날다가 방향감각 잃고 어선에 부딧쳐 죽는거라고

인간이나 동물이나 죽기싫어서
잘 살기 위해 그런 천성을 가지게 되는 것인데
바로 그 천성 때문에 죽게 된다는 사실에
오늘 잠시 인생무상의 현자타임을 갖게 되었다.

천성대로 사는게 맞고 그게 정답인데

인생의 고난과 고통을 겪게 되는것도
사실 자기 천성때문에 걸려들게 되는 것이니

천성대로 사는 삶
어느 갈림길에서 고락이 나뉘게 되는걸까

천성대로 사는 행복을 누리는 만큼
천성대로 살다 고통받게되는 댓가도
모두 다 내 몫으로 품고 살면 삶의 고통이 덜해질까
