안정된 애착관계 형성의 핵심은 얼마나 일관성 있는 신호를 주느냐이다.

아이(상대)의 주도적인 신호에 얼마나 즉각적이고 민감하게 상호작용을 해주느냐의 애착관계 형성이 잘못되면 아이나 엄마 중 누군가의 불만이 생기기 되는데, 이는 새로운 상호작용 패턴을 형성하여 교정가능하다.
